First 100 Days Panel Discussion9:00 - 10:30am 5/2/2017
Nonprofit Center of Northeast Florida
The headlines have screamed with alarming news (“Can Charities Survive Trump?”) of real and impending threats to nonprofit priorities and funding at the federal level, from limiting tax deductions to zeroing out block grants. Join the Nonprofit Center on May 2, 2017 for The First 100 Days: Washington Briefing and Nonprofit Strategy Discussion.
Bring board members, invite key funders, and participate in this 90 minute learning and leading opportunity for the nonprofit sector. Our expert panel will provide us with an insider’s assessment of the federal outlook on critical policy and funding issues, informed by their experience at the highest level of government and in policy making. Then it’s your turn; engage with our panel through Q & A, share the challenges your organization is facing or anticipating from federal policies, and help shape a responsive agenda to influence the future.
Check-in will begin at 8:30am, with a 9:00am start-time.
